From software configuration to hardware installation, Remmon’s standalone RTUs offer simple straightforward procedures for successful day-to-day maintenance. You control the configuration process and all the settings can be adjusted independently. The configuration software features a friendly graphic-user-interference that does not require any specialized knowledge.
By using Remmon configuration software you are free to set all predefined conditions, write your own automatic SMS alert messages, calibrate your sensors, add/remove users, and more.
Communication can either be done via serial cable or by remote, by using a data modem.
Adaptable
 Remmon RTUs can either be used as standalone units (using built in I/O card), or as PLC cellular gateways. Each Remmon RTU can be interfaced to PLC devices via serial cable. The PLC/RTU communication is done through PLC data protocol. Remmon supports many PLC data protocols including Modbus, Unitronics and others.
Separating remote communication from PLC devices, Remmon has been able to provide easy-to-use Graphic User Interface (GUI) communication software for easy and smooth PLC/RTU interfacing. There is no need to open a ladder diagram, no need to stop the PLC for data download, and no need to risk the regular operation of the PLC. Using Remmon’s PLC interfacing solution, all PLC communication settings and procedures are performed via easy-to-use GUI software, without interrupting the ongoing work of the PLC.
