R-COM, Data Becomes Available
The R-COM is a general purpose GSM RTU for data acquisition (DAQ) and SMS alerts. With a large number of installations and integrations worldwide, the R-COM is a reliable unit that ensures that no matter where you are, crucial information will find its way straight to your cellphone.
The R-COM uses efficient Telemetry and M2M methods for linking remote sites, controller/PLC or sensors to the control center.
The R-COM comes with easy-to-use configuration SW for setting up input parameters for both analog and digital inputs, including scaling engineering units and setting alarm levels or states. The configuration can be done on a PC and downloaded either locally using a RS-232 cable or from a remote location through the GSM cellular network.
The R-COM can be connected to either sensors or relays through its I/O, or to a PLC through its RS-232 port using MODBUS or any other required protocol.
