GSM/GPRS Controller Communications
REMMON's RTUs allow extending Controller/PLC capabilities by adding communication options via SMS, web or direct connectivity to the controller.
REMMON's products offer several communication methods:
- Data Logging, Remote Monitoring and Remote Configuration: R-LOG, R-COM and R-LITE RTU enable communication with the PLC through protocols, aggregating and communicating data with the control center via SMS alerts and notifications, or sending data logs to web server. The efficiency of the GSM network enables bi-directional communication between the RTU and the Control Center, enabling remote configuration and adjustment of values registered on the controller via SMS or the Web.
- Direct connectivity: REMMON's Serial Over IP solution, using the R-PIPE RTU, enables direct bi-directional communication from the HMI/SCADA system to the PLC, using the RTU as if it was connected directly to the PC via serial communication.
- Direct connectivity, through standard MODBUS protocol: This unique solution combines the R-LOG WEB RTU and the R-MODBUS middleware to enable the direct monitoring of remote devices by MODBUS SCADA systems.
